$122,000,000.00 Jackpot Still Unclaimed
Winner has not yet come forward for the Jan. 22 Powerball drawing
On January 22, 2011, lottery officials announced that there was one winning ticket for the $122 million Powerball jackpot.
The only problem is … no one knows who it is. The winner has not yet come forward.
Under Powerball rules, the winner has until Jan. 22, 2012 – a full year after the drawing – to come forward with the winning ticket. After that, the winnings are lost forever.
Did you win?
- Where the winning ticket was bought: Catskill, NY – at the “Clothespin Laundromat”
- Winning numbers: 30, 31, 34, 45, 51, and Powerball 23
Will the winner come forward, or was the ticket lost in the extra-rinse cycle?
If the prize is claimed, the winner will have the option of choosing a lump sum cash option of $61,224,679, or the full $122 million spread out over 29 years.
